After WWII the Soviet Union started distributing propaganda into democracies they were preparing to invade. United States lawmakers passed a law designed to prevent the Soviets from spreading that propaganda here, in case they made it this far. After we won the cold war the United States officials figured we no longer needed that law so they allowed a foreign entity to invade, then bribe FCC officials to overturn that law. This book starts with a brief history of media in the US, then fact checks the spun up conspiracy theories spread by the foreign entity identifying the damage that has been inflicted to our Democracy. For the last 20 plus years we have been consuming 2 conflicting sets of facts. One from the media created by Americans, and the other from the foreign entity. (Beschreibung aus externen Buchdaten)
